Make your vacation more magical by reading these 17 Disney books together before taking your toddler to Disneyland.
“The window is open, so is that door- I didn’t know they did that anymore…” The lyrics from Frozen’s “For the First Time in Forever” ran through my head as I watched our toddler run down Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel hallways in her Anna dress. Pure magic. Happiness. Excitement. Family togetherness. Our vacation had it all. The planning, the saving- all worth every minute and every penny. I metaphorically sat back and enjoyed the ride as I watched our plans unfold, soaking in every memory. Our girls’ first trip to Disney was a huge success.
Some people may just bring an e-book reader like a Kindle on their trips to avoid messing up the pages of their favorite books. You can also bring more books without worry of how much it weighs.
But for those of us who prefer the physical book- especially for our little one to turn the pages and not be looking at a screen, there are ways to pack paper books without worrying about damaging them.
Pixar Pier has it all- the rides, the characters, the food, and the atmosphere. Every land in Disney California Adventure has its own feel to it, and if I had to sum up Pixar Pier in one word, I would say energy. Even the background music gives off a vibe of entertainment and fun. Don’t worry though, if you prefer to take it slow, there are plenty of areas to sit and people watch while you soak in the environment.
