If you are looking for a Super Sparrow Water Bottle Review, chances are you are looking for a reusable water bottle built with adventure, travel, and personality in mind.
I had the opportunity to test out some Super Sparrow water bottles and review them. My family (husband, 2 little girls, and I) go hiking about once a week and camping every month. We are always on the go, exploring places both close to and far from home, traveling as much as we can.

When I look for a new water bottle, I want one that doesn’t sweat. It’s absolutely horrible getting water marks on the table or soaking your bag because of water bottle condensation.
The other important aspects to me are that it stays cold or hot as needed, has a straw option, and isn’t super heavy. As a mom, I also want it to fit our car’s and stroller’s cup holders.
Of course, a pretty color or pattern doesn’t hurt either. The variety of water bottle options from Super Sparrow amazed me.
Let’s take a look at what the brand has to offer and the pros and cons of the Super Sparrow water bottle.

The Tritan Sports Bottle is just like it sounds: a water bottle perfect for athletes.
There are divots on the side for a comfortable grip. Plus the spout has a slotted lid under it to make sure ice doesn’t fall through the spout while you’re drinking.
My husband actually acquired this as his go-to gym water bottle. It’s big without being too big, has a great grip, and is just so convenient to take on the go.
It has the same lid lock mechanism our daughter’s sippy cup has. This was funny to us at first, but it totally works. It clicks shut and then has a clasp to lock it in place.
The 350 ml (12oz) Tritan Sport Bottle only comes in matte color options. There are 5 other sizes: 500 ml (17 oz), 750 ml (25 oz), 1000 ml (32 oz), and 1500 ml (51 oz). All of these come in either matte or transparent color options.

I absolutely love this Super Sparrow Water Bottle!
You can switch back and forth between a screw-on carabiner loop cap and a sports lid with a straw. Plus, you get an extra straw (just in case) and a brush to properly clean the straws.
Compared to other cold-hot water bottles, it definitely holds up. We tested it out, and the ice didn’t even begin to start melting until 8 hours later.
I wish we could have gotten the sling pack in the US shipment.
At least the water bottle is narrow enough to fit most standard cup holders and backpack side pockets. It was the perfect size for hiking with our girls.
Definitely going to take this on our next road trip and through the airport.

It’s really cool that Super Sparrow Water Bottles have a wide-mouth option. You can get a regular flex cap lid or a straw lid.
If you only want the flex cap, you don’t need to purchase a package that has both lids. The flexible strap makes it easy and comfortable to carry.
This wider lid makes it easier to get ice into your water bottle. It also helps when cleaning the water bottle.
Ultra-Light Series with Straw Lid (Standard Mouth)

The Super Sparrow Ultra Light Series is very similar to the To Go Series.
The main differences are that the Ultra Light Water Bottles weigh a little less and come in pattern color options. The To Go Series comes with 2 different lid types and a straw cleaning brush (+/- sling pack) with your purchase.

Honestly, they both keep my water ice cold for a long time, so it just depends on what color I want that day. I am a fan of a sports lid with a straw, so I don’t really need the second lid from the To Go Series.
What I do love about the Ultra Light Series is that the patterns include some really cool hiking and mountain images. We go hiking and camping every month, so the pattern really fits our personalities.
The Ultra Light Series extra light factor helps when carrying the water bottle uphill. Every ounce counts, especially when backpacking with kids.

The Ultra Light Series with Flex Cap from Super Sparrow is very similar to the Ultra Light Series with Straw Lid.
It is lighter and insulated to keep beverages hot or cold all day.
Compared to the straw lid and carabiner lid from some other water bottle designs, this one has a flexible handle on the cap.
When packing for camping, a flexible handle is space-saving and very useful. It’s also more comfortable for carrying around.
Enjoy Series

The Enjoy Series is a slender, lightweight travel mug. It’s perfect for the hot or cold beverages you want to sip like coffee or tea.
We tested out how long a hot beverage will stay warm, and it was impressive. Late morning the boiling water was at 208°F (98°C), and 8 hours later it was still very hot at 139°F (59°C).
Of course, that was a test of leaving the Super Sparrow Enjoy bottle on the counter, only opening the lid when taking the temperature.
My husband has been using this mug daily for coffee or hot tea to fully test out this feature. The result? It stays too hot for too long.
You really have to leave the lid open or not put in a boiling hot beverage to be able to drink from it sooner.
That said, it’s an excellent size for an on-the-go insulated bottle, especially since it’s much lighter than most travel mugs we’ve used.
I can’t help but think it would have been perfect for our trip to Banff National Park in winter. When hiking with kids in the snow, hot chocolate is a must for rewarding a whine-free adventure.

It comes in a couple of different sizes with 5 solid color options.
The most unique thing about the Super Sparrow Mugs and Tumblers is the double safety lock feature of the lid.
This double-locking feature makes sure your hot coffee or tea won’t spill as you’re rushing out the door to work, school, or another adventure.
How to Clean Your Water Bottles
Stainless steel water bottles are always recommended to be hand washed.
The company actually sells a water bottle cleaning brush set. With 3 different size brushes, you can easily clean the lids, straws, and bottles.
Use warm water and your regular dish soap. Make sure to take apart the straw from the cap, and thoroughly scrub each piece. Rinse off the soap, then set out to dry.
Make sure all the pieces have dried completely before putting them back together and closing the lids.
Overall Super Sparrow Water Bottle Review
Impressive.
That’s the word that sums up my Super Sparrow water bottle review.
Overall you have a water bottle that keeps your ice cold, and your coffee hot, and won’t slow you down.
The size of most Super Sparrow water bottle options fits in your average car and stroller cup holders. None of the water bottles or travel mugs are excessively heavy. In fact, I think most if not all of them are well under 453 g (1 lb).
It was so hard to narrow down our order with all of the colors, patterns, and water bottle options.
Let’s take a closer look at why I think you should definitely invest in a Super Sparrow Water Bottle.
Cons of the Super Sparrow Water Bottle
If you tell me nothing is perfect, I would agree with you. But I only have 3 comments that were less than stellar, and none of them are a major negative.
- Straw needs to be clean and dry to not slide out of the cap (recommend washing after 1-2 days of use)
- Tritan Sports bottle has minimal condensation
- Enjoy Series keeps the beverage too hot for too long
The straw fell out of the lid when refilling the water bottle a few times, but this is common for any similar straw attachment system.
It only happened after using the same water bottle a few days in a row. The straw never fell out when using a new, clean, and dry straw.
The Tritan Sports bottle had some condensation when filled with a lot of ice. Compared to other non-insulated water bottles, this was a very small amount of condensation.
Unless you have a ton of ice in the Tritan Sports water bottle and have it sitting on an antique table, you should be fine.
The hot function of the Super Sparrow Enjoy Series works too well. If you want to do more than just take tiny sips, you’ll have to wait hours before comfortably drinking a hot beverage.
Some workarounds include not letting the water boil before putting it in the Enjoy Series to-go mug. Let your tea or coffee drop to a comfortable temperature before bottling it up. You can also just leave the cap open to let the beverage vent a bit more.
As I said- none of these are deal breakers to me.

There is also a warranty for any manufacturer defects. This does not cover normal wear and tear or dents from dropping your bottle.
Pros of the Super Sparrow Water Bottle
Now that the cons are out of the way, let’s go over the awesome features.

My personal favorite is the straw lid. The To Go Series comes with a straw brush cleaner. All straw-lid water bottles come with 2 straws.
I love straws because my teeth are sensitive to ice (and it’s just easier to drink). The straw lid has a comfortable handle and it’s easy to clean.
Enjoy series is light, slender, and really keeps your beverage hot. The shape and weight of the Enjoy Series travel mug outdo similar brand options.
The most impressive though was the Tritan Sport Bottle.
The spout was the perfect size for drinking water during or after a workout. I thought it might be a bit bulky, but it’s actually a very convenient size and weight.
